9/11 MEMORIAL RENOVATION

2022, Quarter 4

The Promise of Hope Foundation teamed up with Milburn Flooring to revitalize the Suffolk County Fire Academy 911 memorial site space. Before these renovations took place, the area was unkept and needed attention. Milburn replenished this space within 10 days, adding turf, newly planted trees, tables, paint, and even manicured the surrounding area. Following the renovation, the fire academy held a re-dedication ceremony that all Suffolk County EMS agencies were encouraged to attend to salute our fallen heroes.
