RM had a busy spring attending and volunteering at events. RM attended Trade shows such as NY FD Chiefs Show, AFDSNY NY Fire Commissioners Show, Dix Hills Vendor Show, and the 31st Annual Government Procurement Conference. At the NY FD Chiefs Show, RM sponsored an event in which Christine Hartt and Andrea Marino, RM Account Executives, raised $1,000, which was donated to a local Fire Fighters non-for-profit organization. Milburn attended its first Government Procurement Conference in Washington DC, where Milburn promoted its products and services. The Federal Government Procurement Conference is a national conference fostering business partnerships between the Federal Government and product and service providers. Other companies in attendance were contractors and small businesses. GPC is the largest and longest-running conference for small businesses looking to work directly with the government and its prime contractors. Milburn Government Sales Representative John Ortmann, who attended the event, said, “The show allowed us to meet with several procurement agents from various government agencies. We gained valuable knowledge of the government procurement process that will help us successfully align with this new business segment for Milburn.” The Milburn booth presented a very professional organization and was one of the more impressive displays at the show. This strategy attracts many people to stop and look at our products and services, helping us engage in conversations with potential clients.
