This summer Blendex by Milburn Flooring installed unique epoxy systems to serve the needs in various rooms within educational facilities. Jericho High School photo lab now has a black epoxy resin system.  Due to chemical usage in the photo lab, epoxy is ideal because it demonstrates high resistance to elements and can withstand heat, spills, and emissions better than any other type of flooring. It is seamless and easy to clean should an accident happen. Blendex by Milburn Flooring installed a blended pro flake epoxy at Commack High School this summer. This epoxy system is long-wearing and a more sanitary option preventing dirt and bacteria build up.  Epoxy is also water resistant due to its non-porous nature and will not warp, which best serves an application like this that might withstand humidity, steam, and even sweat. An anti-slip aggregate was also added to make the floor slip resistant. Epoxy is durable making it a great product for heavily weighted objects like machines. Greenport School District used epoxy for their wood workshop.
