We are seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to support project execution, ensuring seamless coordination, compliance, and quality control throughout the construction lifecycle. This role requires strong organizational skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to keep projects on track.

As a commercial Construction Project Coordinator, you will be working closely and directly with Project Managers, responsible for project setup, execution, and quality management while ensuring adherence to RENU’s standards and industry best practices.  In this role, you will serve as a key support to Project Managers while also coordinating with subcontractors and clients to keep construction projects on schedule, within budget, and compliant with contractual and regulatory requirements.  Compensation will be based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

Primary Responsibilities:

Duties & Responsibilities:

Project Management & Coordination

  • Manage project setup and documentation in Procore, Sage 300, and Microsoft Project to ensure consistency across platforms.
  • Assist Project Managers in developing project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Act as a key liaison between subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and drawing revisions.
  • Maintain accurate project records, including contracts, permits, RFIs, drawings, and closeout documentation.
  • Identify potential delays and develop contingency plans with Project Managers to mitigate risks.
  • Attend project meetings, site visits, and quality inspections, offering strategic input to improve workflow.
  • Monitor progress updates to ensure milestones are met according to the project timeline.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Track and document non-conformance issues, assisting in corrective action plans to address deficiencies proactively.
  • Ensure Superintendents complete daily logs in Procore, verifying that all project activities and site conditions are properly recorded.
  • Confirm that Toolbox Talks are documented in Procore to maintain compliance with safety standards.

Budget & Cost Control

  • Assist in budget tracking and financial analysis to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Prepare bi-weekly financial performance reports for internal review, keeping stakeholders informed about project profitability and expenditures.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project coordination, facilitating clear and timely communication between Project Managers, Architects, Field Teams, and Subcontractors.
  • Work closely with Pre-Construction and Compliance teams to establish and maintain project documentation.
  • Provide Procore and project management system training to internal teams and subcontractors as needed.

Problem Solving & Risk Management

  • Identify and mitigate risks related to quality, compliance, and scheduling delays.
  • Address process inefficiencies before they escalate into major project delays or budget impacts.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to adjust workflows and maintain project momentum in response to unforeseen challenges.
Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Procore Certification or other industry-related certifications are a plus.

Skill Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Procore, Sage 300, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong knowledge of blueprints, construction methods, budgeting, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with subcontractor management, procurement, and contract administration.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to risk mitigation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork abilities, with the capability to enforce compliance and quality standards effectively.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, maintaining composure under pressure.

Prior Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in construction project coordination, quality control, or project management.
  • Compensation will be based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
