TRANSFORMATIVE NCAA-APPROVED GYM FLOOR DESIGNS

Adhering to the standardized specifications set by the NCAA, Milburn Flooring undertook the sanding and refinishing of gym floors at St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue and St. John’s University in Queens. St. John’s, a participant in NCAA Division I basketball within the Big East Conference, hosts its home games at Carnesecca Arena. St. Joseph’s College competes in NCAA Division III, fielding both men’s and women’s basketball teams in the Skyline Conference. Despite conforming to NCAA dimensions, Milburn Flooring incorporated personalized elements for each school providing custom colors, school symbols on the half-court line, and Conference logos. The background stain reflects the iconic locations of each institution, with St. John’s featuring the NYC skyline, including Madison Square Garden, and St. Joseph’s showcasing the silhouette of Long Island. Both facilities accommodate basketball and volleyball activities.
