Jericho High School's 10,000 square feet pool was originally built in the 60’s and RENU Contracting and Restoration and Milburn Flooring have just completed its full renovation! Working together on renovating every aspect of the pool, our professionals refurbished the ceilings, HVAC system, pool deck, pool bottom, windows, bleachers, and pool deck accessories. What a transformation!
Milburn Flooring took on the compelling aspect of Valhalla High School library producing an exceptional floor design that brings natural landscapes into the built environment using Shaw Contract Shifting Fields Collection. Installing three styles within this collection called Landing Edge Tile, Landing Tile, and Plains Tile Milburn was able to define space by creating transitions, zoning, visual ques, and boundaries. Another collection from ShawContract that was used to transition to a quieter energy for conference areas was called The Park, Drift Tile style. This was a 4-zone install using the brick installation method. It was imperative for installers to be precise with their measurements and installation technique so each collection would blend and transition effortlessly into the other for a cohesive and pleasant final look.
Herricks High School was under construction adding on 3,700 square foot athletic fitness center addition and approximately 200 square feet of interior upgrades. The building sits on a hilltop which RENU Contracting and Restoration widened to accommodate not only the addition but also a Fire Access roadway for emergency vehicle use. With blue accents on all athletic room exterior windows and door frames, the existing building’s brick exterior now matches the new gray brickwork. The gray corrugated metal siding panel offers an industrial look. Milburn Flooring installed Terrazzo and VCT flooring and rubber performance flooring in the athletic room.
